Legendary Street Artist Horfe Discusses his New Works and “Imaginarium”

Hailing from the city of Paris, Horfe’s playful comic-style of graffiti can be easily recognized as he has been steadily covering trains, streets and rooftops for over a decade. Expressing somewhat a disdain for gallery street artwork — as graffiti must be “illegal to fit that bill,” Horfe believes that the gallery is the best place for describing and organizing his aesthetic in a way that he can “share with everyone, graffiti fan or not.” In this video, Horfe gives an exclusive walk-through of some of his favorite piece for the exhibition while juxtaposing his works from inside and outside of the gallery.

I think what’s truly cool about Horfe’s art, is that you don’t have to be a graffiti artist or enthusiast to like his work. It’s raw and eye catching and it used to always have me saying, “how does he have the imagination and patience to do this” lol! Enjoy!

Dutch brewers Heineken celebrates the debut of the new “Star Bottle” – the first package change in nearly two decades. A celebration hosted by Jeff Staple was held over the weekend with a 20-person feast which saw the likes of Jaha Johnson, Chris Gibbs, Estevan Oriol break-bread in courtesy of Iron Chef contestant Ludo Lefebvre. Here, James Bond of Undefeated lets us in on stories in his career, working with David Beckham, and thoughts on the new bottle design – a taller, sleeker modern rendition to the iconic green silhouette. No doubt a compelling figurehead in the facet of streetwear, Bond and a slew of prominent creatives run as rightful candidates in the #ArriveBig campaign, stay tuned for more on the campaign.
