I’m not to G to admit it, close to the end it brought me a slight tear. J Dilla had a huge influence to me and my people around me. I remember the day he passed as though it was yesterday. It was super heart breaking and I remember actually being angry and sad about it and wishing it wasn’t true. But just like his music his memory and impact will last forever!

I’m a huuuuge fan of sign painting! I think its such a beautiful art form, and I think that love comes from my background as a graffiti artist. I look at letters as art. The application isn’t just limited to print and vinyl. It’s done with a brush and or a spray can also. It’s really sad to see an art form like sign painting die out. Worst of all, it’s over looked or not seen at all. As a designer for UPSO a lot of my work is font based, I don’t just type t out, I hand draw every letter. There’s something in typeface that can’t be replaced by machine.
